Traditional dalmatian house in the old town of Škrip on the Brač island, Croatia

The project of a small residential complex K&Spro design team developed in collaboration with MIG architects consists of reconstruction of the old stone house and design of a new house and courtyard between them unifying the complex. Due to strict conservation requirements of the site, the new house needed to keep traditional appearance on the outside – which ment gable roof and stone facade. Such requirements brought the opportunity to create the juxtaposition between traditional and modern, resulting in the contemporary design of the courtyard and the interior of both houses. The construction started in February 2017 and it’s in the process of finalisation of the rough works.
